Six etchings printed on paper for Davar Optimi, Asiyat Shirim (“An Optimistic Thing, Making Songs”), a celebrated poetry collection by the eminent Israeli poet and translator Meir Wieseltier (1941–2023), first published in 1976. This lot comprises the well-known second collector’s edition published in 1984 by Zmora Bitan, distinguished by ten original signed etchings by the Israeli artist Yaacov Dorchin.

Each etching is numbered 1/25 lower left and signed lower right; dimensions are 19 x 11 cm or 11 x 19 cm (sheet size 42 x 33 cm).
